Services
Backflow prevention and irrigation repair
Two trades that live in the same box in your yard. We do both, for homes, businesses and HOAs across Lake, Orange and Osceola County.
Backflow prevention
Testing, repair and installation
Certified testing with the report filed for you — which is the part that actually clears your notice.
Residential and commercial
A single assembly at a house, or every assembly across a plaza or an HOA. Same test, different scale.
Annual certification testing
The test your utility requires once a year. We run the gauge, record the readings, and file the report with your water provider in the format they accept.
Inspections
A look at the assembly itself — the shutoffs, the relief valve, the fittings, and whether it is installed at the right height and orientation to pass.
Repairs and rebuilds
When an assembly fails, it usually needs a rebuild kit rather than a replacement. We tell you which one it is, and what each costs, before we start.
New installations
A new assembly where one is required and does not exist yet, or a full replacement when the old one is past rebuilding.
Irrigation repair
The system the assembly feeds
Sprinkler problems are cheap to fix and expensive to ignore.
Repairing your system is cheaper than resodding your yard.
Broken heads
Cracked, sunken, mown over, or spraying the driveway instead of the grass.
Leaking pipes and fittings
The wet patch that never dries, and the water bill that went up for no reason you can see.
Bad valves
A zone that will not come on, or one that will not shut off.
Timers out of sync
Controllers that lost their schedule, run at the wrong hour, or water through a restriction day.

Questions
What people ask before they book
- How long does a backflow test take?
- About twenty minutes for a typical residential assembly. Commercial units and larger assemblies take longer. You do not need to be home, as long as we can reach the assembly and the shutoffs.
- Do I need to be there?
- No. Most residential tests happen while the customer is at work. We do need access to the assembly, so let us know about gates, gate codes and dogs when you book.
- Does my water get shut off during the test?
- Briefly. Testing the assembly means closing the shutoffs for a few minutes. If you are home you may notice the irrigation zone or the affected line drop out, and then it comes right back.
- What happens if my assembly fails?
- We tell you what failed and what it needs. Most failures are worn rubber inside the check valves and are fixed with a rebuild kit rather than a new assembly. Once it is repaired it has to be retested, and we handle that too.
- Do you file the report with my utility?
- Yes. That filing is the point of the test — a test that is not reported does not satisfy your utility. We send it to your water provider and you get a copy for your records.
- How often does it need to be tested?
- Once a year for most properties in this area. Your utility sets the schedule and sends the reminder, usually by text. We track your due date and remind you before it comes around again.
